What we will expect from you

As Communications Officer, you will work  closely with the Marketing Director, contributing to the following areas:

Brand Communication

  • New Visual Brand Identity
      An overhaul of our visual identity has begun and this will be one of your main immediate projects with a special focus on:

    • Develop a New vision for 2021 to 2025: a logo that translates the Apgar values and the company future vision
    • Be a driving force for the project, conducting co-creation sessions.
  • Redesigning of our website
      You will be leading the project which will include:

    • Current situation audit and market best practices benchmarks
    • Define a site concept and architecture that is aligned with the near-future evolution of the company and leadership vision of the site’s role in company growth.
  • Media Presence
    • Develop our relationship with the media to increase our presence, mention, and visibility in the relevant media (press, TV, web)
    • Develop relationships with the key international influencers in the Data Management area.
  • Communication Assets Management
    • Maintaining the Company Presentation
    • Introducing offers
    • Communication supports (business card, institutional leaflets, etc)

 

Digital Strategy

Make Apgar Consulting a major player against its competitors in Data Management

Your aim will be to improve our digital presence, translating our leading status in our market segment and piloting our E-reputation and our references, which will include:

  • Communicate effectively on Linkedin by identifying and creating engaging content that can increase our visibility/engagement and generate new leads.
  • Increase organic traffic to our website and improve conversion by:
    • Continuously creating relevant (blog posts; videos; news; service offer, …)
    • Conducting E-mail marketing activities (newsletter)
    • Creating engaging customer success stories
    • Creating relevant employees profiles and job openings

Event Pole

Apgar regularly organizes events  with  its technology partners, your mission will be to manage the organization of these events from start to finish and to ensure the smooth running of these in terms of:

  • Organization: choice of speakers, points of preparation, work on speech, creation of the medium that will be used…
  • Logistics (required hardware, location, tools used when it comes to a webinar)
  • Communication upstream of the vent and post-event (mailing, social networks)
  • Measuring the effectiveness of our events

Internal  Community Manager

The current health situation has severely impacted the adapted working methods in our industry and has forced work from home for all our employees. As much as this method keeps our employees safe, it might negatively impact their well-being and their motivation, and also create a gap in the human connection they had with their colleagues. Our corporate culture and HR policy is highly based on team-work and communication, and thus we need to maintain this human connection amongst our employees. We are looking for the person to ensure the same.

In addition to that, this person will also need to focus on communication coordination through:

  • The preparation of quarterly meetings, weekly coffee breaks, …
  • Support our Team Spirit members in organizing internal events
  • Support our Team Building members in any material needed to use for our annual events (Presnetations, Brochures, …)

 

Marketing division

  • To support our Director of Offers for the Marketing of our new Apgar offers (Data Integration, Data Catalog, Data Preparation, Data Virtualization…)
    • Making media to communicate effectively on our new offerings (Brochure, leaflet.. )
  • Formalization/translation
  • Coordinating customer satisfaction studies

 

Required profile

Required for this position

Experience in online community animation, including LinkedIn

Knowledge E-reputation, Referencing, SEO…

Good oral fluency and good writing skills

The attraction for the IT sector – The ultimate: you are or have been a communications officer in an NSS

Creative and a sense of detail

Curiosity for market trends

A very good level of written and oral English required

 

Technical skills

CMS (WordPress  ideally or otherwise)

PAO Software: Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator

Note that:

  • The2021 “punch” actions are: Site redesign, Visual Identity Redesign, Increased digital visibility, internal community animation
  • On all the poles and different actions mentioned, the idea is that you intervene in the realization of the actions that will be in your scope of competence and then coordinate with providers on the rest of the actions
