Main functionalities
- Unitary Create, Update, Duplicate features: MDM for Finance enables a set of built-in workflows to perform the stewardship of the data. A data steward can request the creation of a new master data from scratch, or by duplication of an existing one. Workflows also enable the user to update existing data. A request follows predefined steps based on the company code/country/region of the user.
- Audit/Monitoring feature: MDM for Finance offers two types of monitoring, Change Request (Any change request is tracked with the reason of the change, use case name, request status, and date, validation date, requestor, approvers, and status of the synchronization with the target systems) and on Data Level (Every creation, modification, and deletion on the records is tracked in the audit trail).
- Use Case Generator feature: Controlled through metadata. It allows defining, on the fly, use cases to create and update data. An authorized user can control which objects can be seen or modified in a use case, who can approve the requests, and which APIs should be automatically launched at the end of the request.
- API feature: MDM for Finance distributes data to target systems using configurable APIs based on WebServices SOAP, REST, and batch. A mapping assistant allows configuring full or part of the business object to expose in APIs. A business object is the main master data and all its linked tables. The synchronization can be done in FULL mode or in Delta mode per change request or since the last synchronization.
