problematic

A leader in its market, the Building Platform initially used an EBX5-based MDM solution before Apgar Consulting's involvement – which had the purpose of disseminating their "product" data to their website.

The Platform brand called upon Apgar Consulting to work on the following problem:

  • How to enable the grouping of basic data at a central point in order to automate the publication of the “Memento" catalogue and enrich the website and mobile applications?

Solution

In addressing this problem and to meet their expectations, we organized ourselves around the following priorities:

  • Complete overhaul of the EBX5 solution’s Articles repository and consolidation of the product data to ensure their dissemination through the Group's Middleware solution: Stambia
  • Support for the establishment of a suitable organization for the success of the Articles Repository project
  • Construction and configuration of the technical base
  • Consultation for the integration architecture in the IS

Earnings

In terms of beneficial outcomes, the building platform was able to:

  • Provide marketing with a single tool for product master data governance
  • Provide all employees and applications with quality data
  • Simplify data acquisition from employees and applications
  • Invest in a scalable and sustainable solution
